Fishing Charters
- Join us for a 4.5 hour deep sea fishing trip, where we'll travel up to 20 nautical miles from our dock to fish offshore ledges and banks in search of various groundfish. Some species you'll have a chance to catch include Atlantic cod, pollock, wolffish, white hake, sculpin and mackerel. On these trips routinely fish depths of up to 150 feet of water so we never know what we may catch!
- A typical trip starts by making a stop around the entrance of Sydney Harbour to drop flies in search of fresh mackerel to use for cut bait. Once we have bait in the cooler, we head offshore to rocky ledges where we target various groundfish species.
- All fishing equipment is provided, and no fishing licences are required in tidal waters.
- The limit for groundfish is an aggregate of 5 fish per fisher. No Halibut, Northern Wolffish or Spotted Wolffish can be retained. There are no minumum or maximum size limits for groundfish.
